Just below the Southern edge of Mt Rainier National Park while following a small creek uphill in search of a waterfall, we witnessed this huge solitary bull elk simply appear out of the treeline and walk straight into this pond while my heart beat so hard I could hear it. Its a miracle in itself that I came away with an image.
