Early spring in Western Washington is not usually nice. Blustery windstorms on top of record setting rainfall on top of landslides...it happens every year and the locals grumble til the sun comes out. This image is what we call a sunbreak, a glimpse of sunlight while it still rains. These daffodils are yearning for sunshine as much as me!
